Holiday in Holland: the view from Eleanor’s camera!

Three weeks ago we and Eleanor headed across to Holland for a few days. Eleanor, as always found lots of things to photograph, like insects, flowers and anything interesting to her eye.

The insects included this Red Admiral (above) as well as a Greenbottle and a White-tailed Bumblebee on flowers and trees.

There were flowers everywhere but Eleanor picked out the best ones especially in the Rotterdam market and the Leiden botanic garden.

And it wasn’t just the flowers. She also focused on berries and leaves….

She also was excited to see animals including frogs and gulls!

And as well as all of the artistic buildings and fountains.

But all too soon it was time to head back home on the ferry into the setting sun!
